Can anyone recommend a golf course that can be reached by public transit in Munich or nearby. Trying not to use a whole day traveling to and playing. Have searched online and have not been able to find useful information. Thanks.

Thanks. Do you have any idea of the general conditions of these courses. Not looking for anything spectacular but don%26#39;t want to bother if their in bad shape.

naa, sorry, no first hand experience (no golfer). From what I take from their websites No.1 is quite old, sort of rustic, but with a beautiful setting near the river and with large old trees (and a beergarden close by). No.2 is relatively new and geared towards people who want to do a quick round after work. Probably more spacious and maybe easier to make a booking.

Thanks. I%26#39;ll look into it a bit further. It looks like the second one is on the middle of a horse race track??? But I can%26#39;t make out any stands for people. Do you know?

It is indeed in the middle of a horse race track, the stands are actually in the lower left corner (where you can see the houses). Horse racing is not that big round here, so most of the time the thing was just empty. Probably for economical reasons they decided to establish a golf course in the middle. Not the worst idea, both need well groomed green :=)
