where in the black forest would i get to see some really nice castles will only have a couple of days before i head of to austria.. we are looking for somewhere quite and peaceful maybe a short drive to a town. staying in either hotel or camping.

The nearby Upper Danube region and the Swabian Alb have more to offer if it comes to castles.

Burg Wildenstein

One of the few never destroyed castles. Outstanding location (albeit Merian has really exaggerated in his etching). Used as a youth hostel today.
