The Karneval der Kulturen (a street parade) is this weekend. More information you%26#39;ll find on http://www.karneval-berlin.de/
The street parade is on Sunday but the festival itself is from 25th to 28th May.
Monday is a bank holiday in Germany so a lot of shops will be closed. Most of the tourist sights, museums, restaurants will be open though.
