Hi, we are visting in June and would like to go to the zoo, is this a large zoo?

I haven%26#39;t been to many zoo%26#39;s but I would say it is a fairly large zoo and defenitely worth a visit. According to their website they have the world largest number of species.
The Zoo also has a big playground and a little area where you can get close to small animals goats which you can pet. Might be interesting for you kids.
On http://www.zoo-berlin.de/en.html you%26#39;ll find more information.

Yes it is worth it. I just got back from Berlin and visited the Zoo on May 11. I have a very nice Zoo in my town, with 2 baby polar bears currently in residence. I loved the fact the Zoo felt like a park. Although there were many visitors there to see Knut (of course) there were many animals to see, including many baby animals. They must be doing something right. I got a discount on admission from the Welcome card booklet. Really enjoyed the time spent here, do visit if you have the time

The aquarium is worth a visit too which is in the grounds of the Zoo, but with a seperate enterance fee. Berlin also has 2 zoos, the central zoo with the famous %26quot;Knut%26quot; and another one on the eastern side which I haven`t been to yet - the baby elephant on the news this week is in that one.

The other Zoo - Tierpark - is in Friedrichsfelde in the Eastern part of Berlin. It%26#39;s also worth a visit. It%26#39;s different from the Zoo as it is more like a park and also has a small palace on the grounds.
