We are taking our 4 children to Stuttgart to visit an old friend. Does anyone have any lodging information? We are looking for something interesting and different outside of the city. Any thoughts?

Hotels in Stuttgart and its vicinity are bookable through the tourist office www.stuttgart-tourist.de . I always recommend the City Hotel on Uhlandstrasse as it is very centrally located on a quiet street in Stuttgart. It%26#39;s hard to give you advice outside of the city if I don%26#39;t know whether you have a car or not and what particular area you are interested in. One thing, the whole family should enjoy the Mercedes Benz museum.

There are some nice old towns around Stuttgart connected by S-Bahn with Stuttgart.
