i am going to the german g p in july ,staying in frankfurt can anyone tell me does a train go to or near the race track if so where when how long is the journey etc thanks

There is no direct train. I checked with www.bahn.de and found various possibilities, all of them looking terribly complicated. You can go by train to Wittlich via Koblenz or to Ahrbrück via Mainz and Bonn, then go on by bus which you have to change several times. Maybe you should rent a car?
What does the grand-prix-website say?

Got it!

wow thank you what a nightmare journey , would i be better booking a car here or wait till i get to frankfurt (friday a/noon)

If you read the nuerburgring-website, you can see that they expect parking problems. So, I don%26#39;t know whether renting a car is the better option. With the shuttle bus, I don%26#39;t find the journey by public transport a nightmare. There are lots of direct trains to Koblenz from Frankfurt.
