Hi - I was thinking a spending a night or two at the Villa Kennedy after landing in Frankfurt. I get emails from them and it looks like such a nice place...it would be fun to have a splurge and they are offering good packages at the moment. Is it close to the sightseeing? My German friends usually come from Wurzburg to pick me up at the airport...would the hotels location be an inconvience for them to pick me up there...I don%26#39;t have a clue where it is. I just thought it would be great place to get rid of the jet lag. Thanks for any advise!

The Villa Kennedy would be the most luxurios new hotel in town. Walked in just out of curiousity and I found it amazing (haven%26#39;t seen the rooms though). As for yor friends from Würzburg. If they make the effort to come and pick you up, the should take the A3, take Frankfurt Süd as their exit and just drive towards the Hauptbahnhof. They can%26#39;t miss the hotel. The hotel is at the edge of the centre of the city, not a too bad location, but not perfect either. You%26#39;ll be fine using a taxi, since it is not too far from the centre, but it lacks a good connection with public transportation

Thanks...it is actually cheaper than the Sheraton at the airport...the photos of the rooms looked amazing...very modern but comfortable.

Ive stayed there a few times on business, never enjoyed going to Frankfurt before due to the lack of decent hotels, the Villa really makes it a pleasure going over now. The hotel is about 10 - 15 mins away from the airport, tell the taxi driver to take you there via the Commer bank soccer arena, costs about EUR 20.00. Fantastic hotel, would really recommend the Spa area if you do decide to try it out.
