Train Station

We spent two nights in Munich. What a nice place. Most people there were nice except the bar owner at the train station who was a

real jerk! I sat at the bar to have a beer and the guy behind the bar

was really rude. I don%26#39;t think he likes americans. He was sarcasic

and said this is my business. I looked at him and he said ; you think your in the U.S. I told him you will not get anymore of my business and walked away.

Well, unless it was a misunderstanding - there is always a jerk anywhere. Yesterday I ran into a conductor on an Austrian train who decided to make mor life difficult because he didn%26#39;t like Germans.

Stuff happens.

Ya, know, funlover1, this is the second negative post I have read by you in the last five minutes. I think you need a new name - like how about eternalbitcher??

This is one of the stupid things that Fox News tries to make American people believe : that the French or German (well, people from the countries which refused to take part to the Irak war) hate them . There are regular posts on the French forum from American people afraid of coming to France and asking how hostile to them the locals will be . Mind you, most European people are clever enough not to hold American tourists responsible for Bush%26#39;s politics . You won%26#39;t find many people in Europe who don%26#39;t like the American people .
