Taxi How much?

I have just booked Best Western hotel berlin mitte on Aalbrechtstrasse. does anyone know if the hotel is open yet . It was suppose to be opening in June. We fly to schonefeld airport. just wondering how long wil it take to get to the hotel,? and appox how much will it cost?

As they are sold out on 7. June but not on 6. and 8. June I would take this as a hint that the hotel is already open on these days.

Most German cities have a street name only once. But 2 hotels of the same chain in the %26quot;same%26quot; (name wise) street is probably not the best of all ideas.

Last time I took a taxi from Schönefeld to Mitte it was 35€ after tariffs were increased (time before had been 30€). It takes nearly half an hour; S-Bahn isn%26#39;t all that much slower and is what I normally use.
