Souvenirs

Any suggestion on what I should get as souvenirs from Germany ? What are the %26quot;speciality%26quot; of Germany ?

One I like from Berlin is the Ampelmann souvenirs (East German pedestrian lights used a different figure ). Have a look at www.ampelmann.de

To me, there is no one specialty of Germany. There are many different regions, because Gertmany was many different principalities rather than one nation until late in the the 19th century.

You will probably find little shops wherever you go that have displays of locally made products. To me, these are more interesting than the %26quot;Typical%26quot; souvenirs.

Obvious answer - Chocolate!, also I like the little music boxes and wonderful Christmas ornaments.
