Hi .. I would like to learn more about saving on train in Europe.
I learn from the internet but it%26#39;s not quite clear for me. What does
it mean :
1. Gruppe %26amp; Spar 70
Any restriction to this option ?
2. Saving Price 25/50 Europe
When I pick the traveller .. I see the option to pick %26quot;Saving Price
25/50 Europe instead of no reduction - and the result gives me
the cheaper price. Any restriction to this ? Or can we use the
option as long as it%26#39;s there to pick ?
Thanks.

Gruppe and Spar 70 are advance purchase tickets for groups of 6 or more.

Saving Price 25 and 50 are advance purchase RT tickets on select trains with a Saturday overnight stay.

Thanks dougb328!
When trying to book ticket Frankfurt - Bremen on June 21 for
four of us, I have to option to change %26quot;no reduction%26quot; to %26quot;Saving
price 50 Europe%26quot; for the cheaper price. June 21 is not on
Saturday - how come ? Anything that I missed ?
I understand that Gruppe %26amp; Spar 70 for group and advance ticket
(14 days) but how to apply it ? I don%26#39;t know where to apply it when
booking on-line .. sorry for my poor knowledge.

I am not quite sure - are you more than 6 persons? If not, you cannot get the price. Otherwise I would recommend calling Deutsche Bahn (they have a phone number somewhere on the website). They can mail the tickets to you and they also have access to the full booking database, not the partial one that is accessible online.

You are right. I learn a lot from this process. This is my first time
to do it by myself - I get used to go with a tour.
How about %26quot;Saving Price 25/50 Europe .. I can pick that option
when trying to book eventhough my travel date is not on Saturday.

%26quot;Saving Price 25/50 Europe%26quot;
These are offers for return tickets to destination outside Germany - which confuses me that you get this option for Frankfurt to Bremen.
There are however %26quot;Saving Price 25/50%26quot; (without the Europe) offers for return tickets inside Germany.
Saving Price 50 means a 50 % discount on the return ticket. I.e. the return ticket for the price of a single ticket. Than there is a speciality of the Saving Price tickets - the 2nd to 5th person on the same ticket get further discounts. Thus for 4 persons it%26#39;s cheaper to get a Saving Price 50 (return) ticket even for a single trip compared to normal price single tickets. In this case you can choose any arbitrary return connection past next Saturday (condition for the Saving Fare 50) as you won%26#39;t use it anyway.
Saving Price tickets are however not flexible and only valid for the booked connection.
I guess you%26#39;ll fly into Frankfurt. Than a Rail%26amp;Fly ticket will be the better and more flexible deal. Check if you can get these first
bahn.de/p/…railfly_b_to_b_engl.shtml
Their price is typically EUR 20-40 per person (the airlines determine the final price).

Abalada ..
I checked this rail %26amp; fly option already and called the airlines
(Air Transat) if I can buy the ticket : Frankfurt - Bremen from them.
They told me that they only have global pass ticket and the price
is even higher than the one that I can find through internet.
Do I miss something in here ?

Rail %26amp; Fly tickets are flat price tickets valid to any train station in Germany. They are not issued for a specific destination.
No idea what the airlines means with %26quot;global pass ticket%26quot;. This term does not exist in the DB terminology. The airlines can define the prices for the Rail%26amp;Fly tickets - but if they sell it to a price that it makes no sense for this route (which is rather long for Germany) it won%26#39;t make any sense at all.
But you%26#39;re already the second poster where the airline (it was another one) seems to have no or not much idea about this special at all - despite being listed as Rail%26amp;Fly partner airline.
I%26#39;ve however no solution what to do in such a case.

Thanks again Abalada. Appreciate your help.
