interlaken to fuessen

we would like to know the cheapest and fastest mode of transport from interlaken or zurich to fuessen to see the castle/ we are two to four persons flying from india to zurich and then to interlaken.

There are lot%26#39;s of mountains between Interlaken and Füssen. Apart from renting a helicoptor there is no really fast and direct way.

For cheap use the Bavaria Ticket on the part from Lindau to Füssen. This is a mini group (2-5 persons) day ticket covering all local trains in Bavaria (EUR 27,00).

From: Lindau

To: Fuessen

and select as means of transport %26quot;only local transport%26quot;. Most connections are however including anyway only local trains.

Interlaken - Luzern (part of the Golden Pass route)

Luzern - Romanshorn (the Pre-Alpine Express route)

Romanshorn - Friedrichshafen (ferry across lake Constance)

Friedrichshafen - Lindau - Füssen

Friedrichshafen is not in Bavaria, and thus not covered by the Bavaria Ticket.
