My wife and I along with our 9 year old son will be staying in Trier for 2 days. We are really interested in the German Wine country and are looking for suggestion on tours and visits to winerys. If you have any ideas around this that would be great. We are also looking of a nice hotel for those two days.

Thank you for the information. Once we get to Trier one of the first things to do is book a wine tour.
Are there any other areas around Trier that would be great to vist in regards to the wine country?

The whole area down the river Mosel towards Koblenz is a wine area .
Very nice are : Bernkastel, Traben-Trabach, Cochem
