We will be in Ulm from July 15 - 18th, 2007 (3 nights). I have contacted Ulm tourist office via email but no response. We are trying to find one room in very affordable accommodations in a part of town that would be best for our family (2 adults, 2 children, ages 3 %26amp; 6). We welcome suggestions on flats, apts., pensions, etc, in addition to hotels. Good price, good location are most important. We will need to park a car, and also need non-smoking. thanks!

I really don%26#39;t know Ulm hotels as I can stay 20 minutes away for free. However, I would stay in the old part of town not too far from the cathedral. There are a few interesting looking hotels in the fishermans%26#39; quarter among other places. You can find information on the city by going to www.ulm.de , then clicking on tourism and then English. You wll be able to access hotels there. Also,if you see a picture of a hotel that looks interesting, note its address then look at the map of the city. When you first enter the website there is a map under %26quot;Stadtplan%26quot;. Ulm is an enjoyable town and you should have a good time. The children might enjoy nearby Legoland.

Car park, non-smoking.
In the green, not far for from the Danube and between some of the forts of the Federal Fortress Ulm. The biggest fortress in Germany (built 1842-59), which saw however never any military action.
