Sorry to ask but did a search for christmas in munich and found no previous discussions
A group of 5 of us are converging on Munich from the 22nd - 27th December and have been advised by our hotel that most restuarants will be closed over christmas. It got us thinking as we so do not want to be stuck with KFC or mcdonalds on chirstmas day - what is available - Our hotel doens%26#39;t have self catering kitchen facilities so buying a turkey isn%26#39;t an option

I%26#39;m pretty sure that the Hofbraeuhaus is also open except December 24th (Christmas eve).
In any case the Restaurants at the Hauptbahnhof (= main train station) are open every day and are quite nice.
