My husband and I will be arriving in Frankfurt is September 2007 around 0800, for a 3 week vacation in Germany/Switzerland. We will be using the rail system to travel. The areas of interest are Bacharach, Interlaken, Munich, Rothenburg, and Zurich so far.
Our first night of stay would be in Bacharach for two nights possibly three. I don%26#39;t know where to say as of yet. Any suggestions? We are interested in taking the Rhine river cruise. Are there any other suggestions as to what to see and do in the area?
I also need suggestions on how to Bacharach via rail.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I assume that you land in Frankfurt and plan to go to Bacharach directly?
