Just returned last week from our 5th trip to Germany over the past 10 years and once again, loved every minute. The scenery (we have no elevation where I am from) the cities, small towns, the food, the BEER!, the cows with the bells around their neck, spargle season, friendly people, Nordic pole walkers, blue clear lakes, wildflowers along the roads, did I mention the BEER!...everyone riding bicycles, everywhere....it is a fabulous country, and you should have won the World Cup!...........only negative......SMOKING.....it%26#39;s bad for you! Thank you Germany for making our trip a special one, we had perfect weather.........Vielen Dank.......:)

But don%26#39;t you think the anti smoking hype in your country is exaggerated? 10 years ago no one cared in the US..., now it%26#39;s like you commit a crime if you smoke...

can%26#39;t stand the smell or anything related to smoking, especially indoors, it%26#39;s disgusting....just a personal opinion......:)

Thanks Bubba. I agree with you on the smoking - I am glad to say this is going to change soon. From next year on you%26#39;ll experience most restaurants and public buildings w/o smoke.
