Ice Rink/Xmas Markets

I heard somewhere that there is an icerink somewhere in cologne. I think it was an outdoor one. Please let me know if this is right and where abouts we could find it.

I also heard that one of the xmas markets closes earlier (date wise) than the others, i think it is the floating one. Does anyone know the definate dates that the markets finish?

Thanks for your help!

Where are the best xmas markets with children in tow? Somebody told me about Rudisheim. More opinions please. And is the nearer to xmas the best time to go? Childrens ages 7,13 and 68! Thanks.

Stuttgart is Europe%26#39;s largest Christmas Market and also one of the oldest and probably most beautiful, and children would enjoy the ice skating rink and riding the small steam train. There is also a Christmas circus. In the Finnish part of the Christmas market you can sit inside a large tepee with a fire and reindeer hides to keep warm. In the nearby Esslingen Medieval and Christmas Market there are medieval style entertainers such as fire breathers.
