Help with hotels

I appreciate the posts advising staying in hotels on the sublway line between the airport and downtown. But when I look at hotel descriptions they do not mention if they are not the subway line.

Could someone give a few names of hotels close to the subway?

There is one hotel that fits your criteria that I usually go to when I need a place to stay North of town: The Golden Tulip Hotel Olymp in Munich-Eching. It%26#39;s closer to the airport than to town, on S-Bahn line S1 (Eching).

The hotel is great, Bavaria%26#39;s best breakfast buffet, some of the rooms are actually small apartments with kitchenette etc (I prefer those rooms over their regular ones for many reasons incl. space, looks etc).

It%26#39;s a two blocks walk or so to the train station. And right across from the hotel is a grocery store, which to me comes in handy as I prefer buying big bottles of water at stores over paying premiums for tiny bottles in hotel minibars.
