Good hostels - central location

Hi all

My husband and I are planning a budget trip through Europe this summer. We will be in Berlin for three days in early September and are looking for very cheap hotel or better still - hostel accomodation (but with a private room %26amp; en-suite).

I have found quite a few so far but would really love to hear from anyone who has stayed in a budget hotel / hostel and hear your opinions. Our budget is really £50 per night maximum. We really don%26#39;t care about a massive amount of facilities, just a clean bed and a shower will do us fine.

I have been recommended to stay at the Plus Roma hostel but some reviews have said this is quite away from the main attractions.

Hi,

you could try the following:

www.st-christophers.co.uk/berlin-hostels

www.circus-berlin.de

www.eastseven.de

www.aurora-hostel.com

www.backpackers.de/index-b.html

All of them are perfectly located for nightlife and sightseeing (Mitte or Prenzlauer Berg). For reviews check: tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g187323-c3-Berlin-Hot…

Possible recommendation is the Motel One motels - cheap, clean (was there to visit someone who%26#39;d stayed there) and central:

www.hotel.de/Search.aspx…

And they are a bit %26quot;better%26quot; than the backpackers hostels.
