Frankfurt Marriott

Does anyone know how far from train station the Frankfurt Marriott is? We are flying into Frankfurt and taking the train from airport to city. Since we will have two suitcases, can we walk from train station to Marriott or take a taxi? We are using Marriott points so staying there is a must. Thank you.

Are you suggesting takine the SBahn from train station to Marriott? My understanding the train from airport will take us to the main train station Hauptbanhof. Can we take the S-Bahn directly to stop by Marriot?

Take S-Bahn from the airport to Hauptbahnhof and then change onto tram to Festhalle. It%26#39;s only a few stations. Alternatively take underground U5 to Festhalle/Messe. However, there%26#39;s about a 5mins walk from the underground station whereas the tram stops right outside the Marriott.

NOTE: There is no S-Bahn service between Airport and Hauptbahnhof from July 9th to the 29th du to track maintenance work. There will be replacement shuttle busses running every 30 mins only.

Thank you. Since we will have luggage, I think the easiest will be to take taxi from Hauptbanhof to hotel. It shouldn%26#39;t be more than 5 or 6 uros, right? I think it will be too much transferring from train to tram or underground with two suitcases. I appreciate the info.

Yes.

But the EUR 3,55 ticket from the airport will also cover the onward travel by U-Bahn anway. They are good to any stop in Frankfurt.

S-Bahn and U-Bahn station are both underground at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. Just follow the white/blue U-Bahn signs

Guess you have to haul your luggage a longer distance to the taxi than to the U-Bahn station at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. But you save the Festhalle/Messe station to Marriot Hotel part.

The differences will be definitly slim, thus no real criteria.

Taxi from the airport to the Marriott should be in the €25 area. Taxi from Hauptbahnhof should definitely not exceed the €10 mark at all (5 is realistic).

The day of your departure in the US call %26quot;Main Taxi%26quot; at +49 69 73 30 30 and tell them about your flight details and ask for pick up service. It%26#39;s free. All you pay is the regular taxi fare but that way you%26#39;re being picked up right after baggage reclaim by an English speaking driver etc.
