By train from Cologne to Koblenz

We are a group of 4 adults and two boys aged 12 %26amp; 13. Which ticket do we choose from the machine at Cologne Airport to get us to Koblenz? It will be a Thursday morning when we arrive, and we don%26#39;t mind how long the journey takes, but we do want to travel as economically as possible!

There are direct trains from the airport to Koblenz.

EUR 14,20 per adult.

The two boys are free, but must be listed on the ticket of one of their (grand)parents.

You may also qualify for a group ticket.

Rhineland-Palatinate Ticket

is for 5 persons OR parents with x children below 15yrs.

In short: one is not sufficient in your case.

The Rhineland-Palatinate Ticket and also the VRS mini group tickets are only valid past 9am on Thursdays.

A plus of the Rhineland-Palatinate Ticket would be, that it covers also the buses in Koblenz.
