Could anyone please tell me roughly how much it costs per person one way on the airport-express from Schonefeld to the Zoological Gardens stop?
Thanks alot.

The airport-express can be used with a normal local public transport ticket. Single ticket for any trip inside Berlin is EUR 2,10.
Covered are
- local trains
-- RB RegionalBahn
-- RE RegionalExpress (the Airport-Express is an RE train)
- S-Bahn
- U-Bahn
- trams
- buses
- some ferries

the same E 2,10 as for any other transport ticket in Berlin.

Airport express only runs every half-hour. If you%26#39;ve just missed one it might be as quick to go on an ordinary S-Bahn to Zoo.

Just print out the connections suggest for your travel time and use the one you can make it on first. Price is always the same.

I would generally not recommend to translate station names (or the ones of streets or places etc.). Whatabout Schönefeld airport = beautiful field airport? This will only lead to problems/confusion with timetables, while asking people etc.
Exception: Hauptbahnhof = main railway station

I agree, stick with the original name. Actually though re central station: in the announcements on the S-Bahn (S1 and S2) regarding connections at upcoming station, they refer to %26quot;Hauptbahnhof%26quot; and %26quot;Olympiastadion%26quot; (in German) when coming in to Friedrichstrasse.
