Exchange Rate Dollar to Euro?

Does anyone know what the exchange rate for the Euro is in Germany? Specifically Berlin? Is better to buy at the airport or the city?

There%26#39;s only one exchange rate, the one in Germany is the same as the one in France, Austria etc. Here’s a link: ecb.int/stats/…index.en.html.

The best way would be to use your debit card and get money at an ATM, which are all over the place.

Well there%26#39;s one official euro-dollar bank rate but obviously what you get at each exchange place varies. Maybe you sd ask that question %26quot;Better to buy euros at the airport or the city in Berlin?%26quot;. As we have euros here too, can%26#39;t help specifically I%26#39;m afraid.

Using ATMs is normally reckoned to be the best option. Bear in mind that credit cards are less widely accepted in Germany than elsewhere in Europe (let alome the States) so you will need more cash. VISA and Mastercard are your best bets in any case.

The cheapest way to get Euros in Germany, France and the UK is the ATM of BNP, Deutsche Bank and Barclays IF you%26#39;ve got a checking acount with Bank of America. Then you won%26#39;t pay any fee, and your USD will be converted to Euros according to the rate of the day (check www.xe.com).
