Anyone know the tram number from Rostock Hbf train station

(going north or South? from warnemunde ) that will take me to Neuer Markt? Is Rostock Hbf the nearest train stop to this place? Are the sights within walking distance from Neuer markt? Can anyone suggest a walking route from Neuer markt so that I will be able to see the sights in this city as i am only there for a short period of time? Do the drivers announce the stops along the tram route? Is there a landmark or building that you can identify while on board the tram to know that you are in the neuer markt area? Thank you for all your help.

Rostock S-Bahn/tram/bus network

From Warnemünde station use the S-Bahn to Holbeinplatz, Parkstraße or Hauptbahnhof. From there by tram to Neuer Markt.

Single ticket is EUR 1,60. Day ticket EUR 3,20.

Thus you buy a day ticket of course.

These tickets cover all S-Bahn trains, trams and buses in Rostock.

Stops are announced or shown on a display. Or both.

You can also print out the network map and follow the %26quot;progress%26quot; of your S-Bahn/tram on the map.

We will be on a cruise ship that dockd in warnemunde and have chosen not to go into berlin for the day. what is there of interest in warneunde or time frame etc to rostock. thanks in advance
