We (2 families of 4) are staying at the Hotel Modern for the 2 nights we will be in Munich. My friend booked the rooms and I told her whatever she found was fine since it seemed there were not many quad rooms available in Germany. Anyway, now I have read the reviews and am worried. We are not picky and don%26#39;t plan on spending to much time in the rooms anyway. My main concern is that it is not a clean hotel will we have to worry about things like bedbugs or eating breakfast there?? Has anyone stayed there that can calm my fears? Thank you.

ok, I am going to reply to my own post - LOL! This hotel was not the best....not the worst! The refrigerator was broken, the tv had no remote, the carpet was ragged, the light fixtures were almost falling off the walls. We were traveling with our 16 year old daughters and this hotel is located right next to a strip club and there were atleast 3 more close by - but it was close for walking to the marienplatz. The breakfast was nothing great either - I had to laugh when we were leaving I grabbed a hotel brochure and it looks like a different hotel in the pictures! I hope this helps anyone else who has questions re: this hotel.
It is hard to find a quad room in europe so I guess we did ok for the price - 120 euros a night.

That%26#39;s too bad you had to reply to your own post -- but hopefully you will write an official review to warn other travelers! :)

I tend to find that hotels that use terms like %26quot;modern%26quot; or %26quot;central%26quot; in their names are most often the opposite.
