Hallo, I am spanish and I will land in the %26quot;wunderbar%26quot; city of Berlin the first of July. I am planing to stay for three months to visit the city, live the german culture, learn deutsch and trying to get a job.
Could anyone please tell me webpages to rent 1 zimmer wohnung/ apartment studio for those three months? I have already checked several web pages but i havent found anything yet.
Thank you very much in advance.
Any suggestions to apply for jobs? (Is it possible to get one job speaking french, spanish and english but having no idea of german?)
Danke Schön.
Vive la globalisation culturelle!!

Hi,
for apartments/rooms I would try things like %26quot;Mitwohnzentrale%26quot; on google. For example:
http://www.city-mitwohnzentrale.com/ or
wg-gesucht.de/wg-zimmer-in-Berlin.8.0.1.4.ht…
For jobs: I don%26#39;t know jobs, where you don%26#39;t need at least some german. Maybe you could ask in hotels, perhaps they need room-maids ...

Hi,
you could also try:
http://www.immobilienscout24.de/de/finden/wohnen/wohnen_auf_zeit/index.jsp;jsessionid=7F5EB0F6B92CF96EF2A37ADE432794EB.worker2
Best areas to live are (in my opinion) Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg. Other good options would be Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg and Charlottenburg.
Unfortunatly I can%26#39;t help with jobs...
:-)

EBAY used to look for native speakers for customer service from time to time but I think the customer service centre moved to Ireland a while ago. You could check their webpage.
There are always companies looking for people who speak several languages but usually it is expected that you speak decent German as well.
A friend of mine is married to a Mexican and her husband hardly spoke German when they moved to Berlin. He started working in the kitchen of the hard rock cafe until his German was better to find something else. You could ask your question in the forum of www.connectberlin.de ... maybe somebody there will be able to help or give you information about finding a job.

Thank you very much to all of you! This information is really helpful.
GRACIAS
