Me and my partner (in our twenties) are going to Berlin soon for a week. We have narrowed down to 2 hotels; Ackselhaus and Adele Hotel.
Ackselhaus is on Belforter strasse, number 21. They told us they only had one apartment left for the dates we wanted to go but they did not have a picture of that specific apartment on their website so we don%26#39;t really know what it looks like. She said it has a small kitchen, the apartment is white and is simple and it%26#39;s in the main hotel rather than in the bluehome. The other apartments are themed apartments and they also have some deluxe rooms in the bluehome next door. So we don%26#39;t know whether this apartment she told us about is nice and modern, bathroom etc..We were also told the ackselhaus is 5 mins walking to the U bahn? The room we will be getting will also face the garden so I don%26#39;t know what is the pollen count in Berlin at the moment? I have hay fever but only when the pollen is high and I only know that it is affecting me at the moment in the UK. I heard also there is some maintenance work going on at Senefelder Platz and might be closed? We are arriving this Friday.
For the Adele hotel, this is on greifswalder strasse number 227. we were told we would be given a room at the back of hotel so it%26#39;s quiet. However We were also told that this is 15 mins walk to the nearest U Bahn?
Which hotel would u recommend? any information will be useful. As we are staying a week, we are looking for a comfortable bed, nice room and near U bahn.

Hi,
I would prefer Ackselhaus, because...
- it%26#39;s only 5-10 minutes to the U-Bahn (Senefelderplatz). From what I%26#39;ve heard the station is only closed until friday morning (3:30). There also is a Tram station 100 metres from the Hotel (M2, brings you to Alexanderplatz within 3 minutes).
- the area of the Ackselhaus is much prettier. It%26#39;s only a 5 minute walk to Kollwitzplatz area where you find many nice restaurants, bars and shops. It%26#39;s definitly one of the nicest areas in Berlin.
Unfortunately I can%26#39;t help with informations on the pollen situation nor can I rate to comfort of the Hotels but when it comes to location the Ackselhaus is much better.
