advice sought

Hi

i%26#39;ve just booked tickets for myself %26amp; my daughter (9) to visit for a couple of days in October.

Any tips on where to stay/visit/eat/avoid etc would be most welcome!

She%26#39;s a sensible child but we don%26#39;t arrive until the evening so would it be acceptable to go out to eat with her at around 9pm?

All advice appreciated

Thanks

Hazy

A rely nice place to stay would be the Ringhotel Jensen. It is on a canal overlooking the Holstentor (the medieval city gate).

Visit the cathedrals. One is now an art gallery and you can go to the top of the church tower for the views. Take the tour of the Holsten Tor. There is also a tour of city hall (Rathaus) which is worth taking to see the interior rooms; however, the tour is in German.

Luebeck is a beautiful city. It%26#39;s very walkable.

Yes, you can go out with her around 9pm and even later.

A nice place to eat is the Remise in in Wahmstraße. It%26#39;s a restaurant built out of the stable of an old coffee roastery and looks really nice inside. There%26#39;s also a courtyard so when the wheater is nice you can eat outside. But I%26#39;d suggest to there for lunch because in the evenings it%26#39;s more like a pub.

Another nice thing to do is to visit the Niedereegger Shop:
